At Sri Sairam Engineering College, I delivered a focused two-hour session on the fundamentals of penetration testing and practical protection against cyber crimes. The seminar helped students understand how attackers scan, identify, and exploit vulnerabilities in applications and systems, while also explaining defensive strategies to prevent breaches.

Core concepts covered included vulnerability assessment, common web application flaws, secure authentication practices, and the importance of regular security testing. The emphasis was on responsibility — reinforcing that cybersecurity is not optional, but a core engineering duty.

The objective was clear: ensure students left not only aware of digital threats, but equipped with foundational knowledge to build safer applications and avoid becoming easy targets.
